This podcast will change the imagery you think of when hearing those words, but it also will change your life for the better.

In this episode, I will discuss the new version of a “happy hour” which is dedicated to your self care and will help you raise your levels of happiness, focus and energy throughout a hectic week.

By dedicating this time for yourself and deliberately implementing happiness into your week, it becomes the best meeting you’ll have.

Episode #042 - Own Your Om | The Immediate Benefits of Meditation

WELCOME TO EPISODE #042 OF THE ENRICH YOUR SOUL PODCAST

With the hustle and bustle of your daily life, it's critical that you carve out time for self-care. One of the easiest and most effective things you can do is meditate.

While it's often seen as a religious act, meditation is nothing more than a focused practice of mindfulness and calm. Having practiced meditation for over 15 years, I can sense the times where I practice more regularly vs. not. The events in my life also skew more positive, rewarding and challenges seem less daunting.

Add in the fact that it's proven to benefit your health by reducing mortality by 50%, lowering your heart rate and reducing stress, there's no reason not to give it a shot.

In this episode I'll share how it's impacted my life and how I've helped hundreds of others realize the benefit of including 30 minutes of meditation a day into your life.

There are numerous apps that can also help you get started and stay consistent with your meditation including Calm, Headspace and Meditation Studio.

Episode #030 - Turn That Frown Upside Down

WELCOME TO EPISODE #030 OF THE ENRICH YOUR SOUL PODCAST

"Turn that frown upside down," may be a saying that you hear from that overly cheerful person at the office, but did you know that their advice is scientifically proven to work? (Be sure to thank them today btw)

By forcing ourselves to smile and creating the habit, we can not only improve our mental and emotional stance, but it's proven to help with pain as well.

I don't want you to hurt yourself to test this out, but I do want you to intentionally smile more this week and I'm willing to bet you see a change in your outlook.

In this episode, I'll give you a couple of my go-to tips to immediately smile and reset your mental position so that you can take on anything.

Like the song says, life truly is a highway.

So many times one of the biggest topics I coach people on is whether or not they feel that they have control of their lives. Whether it's job, relationship, family or friend related, so many of us have those moments where we steer off course of where we want to go to head more in the direction of where we think others want us to go.

There is nothing that should take your focus off where you want to go and how you want to get there. Through a few simple exercises and a focused mentality, you can get to your final destination on your terms.

In this episode I discuss the critical nature of truly establishing where you are in life, where you want to go and how you're going to get there. All the while, keeping your hands on the wheel and not letting anyone slow you down or divert you.

Most importantly, it's completely acceptable to keep your keys in your own hands and not hand them to someone else.
