Episode #048 - Learning to Leap with Entrepreneur & Health Enthusiast Jill Minton

WELCOME TO EPISODE #048 OF THE ENRICH YOUR SOUL PODCAST

When you think back on how you met certain people in your life, it typically comes through a mutual introduction. I was introduced to Jill Minton of Kansas City based health cafe' t.Loft through a mutual friend and my life is better because of it (thank you Tara Renze!)

The main reason it's better is because Jill is one of the most inspirational, fun, driven and delightful souls you'll ever meet. After you listen to this podcast, you'll absolutely agree.

Taking a leap from corporate America, Jill created t.Loft as a healthy option for people in Kansas City as she was challenged with her own health issues. Not only did she learn to leap herself, she changed the dynamic of her family to make it happen.

In this episode we'll discuss:

  • How she chose to pursue this path
  • How her view on raising her family changed for the better
  • How her mornings are different now owning her own business
  • What advice she would give to others who are thinking about leaping from corporate America
  • How she's using her experience to coach others to pursue their dreams

You can learn more about Jill on her website JillMinton.me, the Learning to Leap Podcast on iTunes, Instagram and Facebook

You absolutely MUST visit t.Loft as well in KC and online.

I would love to hear what passion you want to pursue. You can contact me by email at rich@richbracken.com or on Twitter and Instagram @richbracken1.

Episode #047 - The Infinite Source of Happiness

WELCOME TO EPISODE #047 OF THE ENRICH YOUR SOUL PODCAST

Do you remember the last time that you felt bad about yourself because your social media post didn't get that many likes? How about the time you walked into work and felt a cloud appear over you because you knew it wasn't what you were passionate about? Maybe you hate the way you look because of a magazine cover or a heartbreak?

Today is the day we shift that mentality to find the infinite source of happiness: you.

In this episode I will discuss the common traps of self-acceptance and how you can reset your mind to find happiness and bounce back from disappointment quicker than ever.

I would love to hear how you're shifting your mentality and getting back to internal joy. You can contact me by email at rich@richbracken.com or on Twitter and Instagram @richbracken1.

Episode #041 - Marketing & Branding Expert Anna Wood

WELCOME TO EPISODE #041 OF THE ENRICH YOUR SOUL PODCAST

Every ambitious woman will be told that her dreams are too big, that she’s too bossy, that she should ‘act like a lady.’
Some women will listen.
The ones that don’t will change the world.
— Anna Wood

In today’s marketplace, I feel like we’re at a historical junction where women are establishing their well-deserved place in the boardroom and the business world. While this success is growing, women still face certain challenges in the workplace as this is a long standing problem that won't go away overnight. This week's guest knows this all too well.

Anna Wood is the Founder/CEO of Brains over Blonde, a feminist lifestyle platform for women who REFUSE to choose between femininity and success. Anna's a Google alumnus with a Stanford MBA, a serial entrepreneur, content creator, and a Feminist with a capital F.

As a sales / marketing lead in Silicon Valley, she worked with major brands such as Netflix, Expedia, Lowes, and Airbnb. Now, as a self-described "Female Empoweress," she helps other women carve out amazing careers and cultivate fearless lives.

In this episode, I'll talk with Anna about:

  •  The current state of feminism
  • What female empowerment really means
  • Why personal branding is so critical to all people, especially women
  • How men can help battle rampant discriminatory and harassment situations in the workplace.

You can learn more about Anna at BrainsOverBlonde and you can also follow her on social media on FacebookTwitter and Instagram

Let me know how you're battling the same issues and know that you have tons of support. You can contact me by email at rich@richbracken.com or on Twitter and Instagram @richbracken1.

Episode #039 - Take Your Breath Away | The Key to a New, Invigorating Life

WELCOME TO EPISODE #039 OF THE ENRICH YOUR SOUL PODCAST

When was the last time you did something so exciting or different that it took your breath away and made your heart race?

If you've had to think for more than 15 seconds, it's been too long.

Most of us live in a cycle of comfort that provides the shelter of conservative and a low rate of mistakes. While some treasure that blandness and predictability, I've never heard someone gasp with excitement over vanilla ice cream.

It's those moments where we challenge ourselves, break out of the routine and take on something new that we know deep down inside will make us happy.

In this episode, I challenge you to a couple of game changers while also sharing the main tip that I used to overcome my own routine and shatter my own expectations of myself.

Please feel free to drop me a note when you decide to accept my challenge :)
